Lake Natron Walking Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha to Lake Natron

Embark on your adventure as your guide picks you up from your Arusha hotel in the early morning. Your journey begins with a walking safari in Arusha National Park, accompanied by both your guide and an armed park ranger. This unique experience offers a thrilling opportunity to encounter wildlife up close, a rarity in many parks in the region. Following the safari, you’ll indulge in a serene canoeing experience on Lake Momella. As the day progresses, enjoy a leisurely cruise before retiring to Maasai Giraffe Eco Lodge near Lake Natron in the evening.

Day 2: Lake Natron to Arusha

Rise early to seize the day, embarking on a hike to a nearby waterfall as the day breaks. This invigorating hike, lasting approximately 1 to 2 hours, guides you through the breathtaking landscapes enveloping Lake Natron. Be prepared to get wet as you navigate river crossings along the trail! After completing the hike, begin your return journey to Arusha, a scenic drive lasting about 4 hours. Lunch will be provided en route, ensuring you’re fueled for the journey ahead.
