Day 1:
Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival, a Ndovu African Expeditions representative will pick you up and transfer you to your accommodation in Arusha. Relax and prepare for the adventure ahead. Our partner lodge, Arusha Planet Lodge, is a serene retreat offering comfort and style.

Day 2:
Tarangire National Park
Your private safari guide will collect you from the lodge for a 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Famous for its elephant families, savannah landscapes, and iconic baobab trees, the park is also home to zebras, buffalo, wildebeest, giraffes, and predators including lions and leopards. Enjoy wildlife viewing from the open roof of your 4×4 while absorbing the scenic beauty.
After your game drive, drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight at a comfortable lodge.

Day 3:
Ngorongoro Crater → Arusha
Start early to explore the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Descend into the 600 m deep crater, witnessing a wide variety of animals including the Big Five – lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, and leopards – as well as hippos, wildebeest, zebras, hyenas, and over 500 species of birds. After a picnic lunch in the crater, return to Arusha in the early evening.
