Day 1:
ARRIVAL IN ARUSHA
You will be picked up from the airport by a NDOVU AFRICAN EXPEDITIONS representative and driven to your accommodation in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, take a moment to relax and prepare for the safari ahead. Arusha is a bustling hub and an essential part of safari life in northern Tanzania.

Day 2:
TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, your NDOVU safari guide will collect you and drive you to Tarangire National Park (approx. 2.5 hours). Known for its elephant families and the “river of warthogs,” the park is rich in wildlife: giraffe, bushbuck, hartebeest, lions, and leopards.
Birdwatchers will be thrilled: more breeding bird species are found here than anywhere else in the world! Don’t miss the ancient Baobab trees, some over a thousand years old.

Day 3:
NGORONGORO CRATER TO SERENGETI
Drive into the cooler highlands of Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The Ngorongoro Crater is a “forgotten world” of savannahs, acacia woodlands, lakes, and swamps.
Created by a collapsed volcano 2–3 million years ago, it spans 260 km² and hosts dense populations of large mammals including wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, and the endangered black rhino.
Spot over 500 bird species! In the afternoon, continue to the southern Serengeti, entering one of Africa’s most famous
wildlife destinations.

DAY 4:
SERENGETI TO KARATU
The Serengeti is spectacular! Its vast open plains provide excellent wildlife viewing. Witness the Great Migration of wildebeest, zebra, and antelope (seasonal). Predators like lion, cheetah, and leopard roam freely.
In the afternoon, start your journey back to Karatu, enjoying the breathtaking landscapes and wildlife along the way.

DAY 5:
LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK TO ARUSHA
After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a compact yet diverse park 120 km west of Arusha. Spot baboons, elephants, and the famous tree-climbing lions. Explore the shallow salt lake, dense forest, and the cliffs of the Great Rift Escarpment.
Enjoy a picnic lunch before returning to Arusha or the airport. Say farewell to your guide and reflect on an unforgettable adventure with NDOVU AFRICAN EXPEDITIONS.
