After breakfast, your safari guide from Ndovu African Expeditions will pick you up and drive to Tarangire National Park (approx. 2.5 hrs).
This park is named after the Tarangire River, the lifeline for wildlife during the dry season.
Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds and diverse birdlife — from parrots and hornbills to eagles and vultures. You will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park and later continue your game drive before heading to your luxury lodge in Karatu.

After breakfast, you will head into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, one of the most remarkable wildlife destinations in Africa.
The main highlight is the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, a natural wonder formed over 3 million years ago. With its lush habitats and fresh water, the Crater supports one of the densest populations of large mammals, including the endangered black rhino. After an unforgettable crater tour, you will continue your journey into the Serengeti, entering through its southern plains. Dinner and overnight will be in Central Serengeti.

Though compact, this park is full of surprises: the Great Rift Valley escarpment, seasonal flamingos on the alkaline lake, thick forests with elephants and baboons, and the world-famous tree-climbing lions. After a picnic lunch and game drive, you will return to Arusha or be dropped off at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK) for your onward journey.
