After breakfast, your Ndovu African Expeditions guide will collect you and drive you to Tarangire National Park, your first destination.
This spectacular park is named after the Tarangire River, the only reliable water source during the dry season. Known for its large elephant families, ancient baobab trees, and more than 500 species of birds, Tarangire is a photographer’s paradise. You may also encounter lions, leopards, giraffes, and antelopes.
Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before proceeding to your luxury lodge in Karatu.
Accommodation: Acacia Form Lodge
Meals & Drinks: All meals included (premium wines & liquors may be excluded)
After breakfast, drive through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a chance to stop and admire the stunning Ngorongoro Crater from the viewpoint. Continue on to the Serengeti National Park, entering from the southern plains.
The Serengeti, one of Africa’s most iconic safari destinations, is renowned for its vast plains and the annual Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes move in search of fresh grazing. Depending on the season, you might witness one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.
Enjoy a picnic lunch en route and spend the night at a luxury tented camp in Central Serengeti.
Accommodation: Moyo Tented Camp
Meals & Drinks: All meals included (premium wines & liquors may be excluded)
Wake up to the magical sounds of the African wilderness. Central Serengeti (Seronera) is home to extraordinary wildlife throughout the year, including elephants, giraffes, hippos, and abundant big cats — lions, leopards, and cheetahs.
Explore the diverse ecosystems ranging from open savannahs to lush riverbanks lined with acacias and palm trees. You may also visit the Retima Hippo Pool, a fascinating spot to observe hippos in large numbers.
Choose between a full-day game drive with picnic lunch or early morning and late afternoon drives with lunch at the camp.
Accommodation: Moyo Tented Camp
Meals & Drinks: All meals included (premium wines & liquors may be excluded)
After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most breathtaking safari destinations on earth. This UNESCO World Heritage Site was formed millions of years ago and today is home to over 30,000 animals, including buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, and the endangered black rhino.
Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before heading to Karatu for your overnight stay.
Accommodation: Acacia Farm Lodge
Meals & Drinks: All meals included (premium wines & liquors may be excluded)
Your final safari destination is the beautiful Lake Manyara National Park. Despite being relatively small, the park is diverse, with lush groundwater forests, ancient mahogany and fig trees, and the shimmering alkaline lake teeming with flamingos and over 500 bird species.
You may encounter elephants, baboons, and — if lucky — the famous tree-climbing lions.
After a picnic lunch and game drive, you will be transferred to your chosen drop-off point (Arusha Town, Arusha Airport, or Kilimanjaro International Airport).
