Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park
Embark on your safari journey with a pick-up from Arusha by your expert driver-guide. Traverse to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its elephant migration and abundant birdlife sustained by the Tarangire River. Enjoy a picturesque lunch amidst the wilderness, fueling your exploration.
Experience the park's wonders on a private game drive, encountering majestic elephants and diverse wildlife. Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Ngorongoro Crater
After your breakfast, your safari guide will escort you to Ngorongoro Crater, where a descent of over 600 meters offers unmatched wildlife viewing. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area boasts a rich diversity of animals, from wildebeest and zebra to buffalo, elk, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants, sustained by its year-round water and fodder sources.
Among the park's highlights is its abundant predator population, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard. Your exploration will lead you to Lake Magadi, a vast shallow alkaline lake in the southwest corner of the crater, renowned for its flocks of flamingos, hippos, and various waterfowl species.
Following this, your safari guide will guide you to Engutuktok for a brief walking safari near the hippo pool, offering an intimate glimpse of these magnificent creatures. You'll have the opportunity to unwind and replenish, with restroom facilities available if needed.
As the day winds down, you'll make your way back to Arusha town, concluding your unforgettable safari experience.
