Day 1:
Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a Ndovu African Expeditions representative and transferred to your luxury accommodation in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the chance to relax and prepare for your safari.
Arusha, located at the foot of Mt. Meru (Africa’s 5th highest peak), enjoys a cool climate and lush surroundings for much of the year. Known as the safari capital of Tanzania, the city blends vibrant urban life with tranquil villages, coffee plantations, and friendly locals.

Day 2:
Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, your Ndovu African Expeditions safari guide will collect you for a drive to Tarangire National Park. Famous for its huge elephant herds, diverse birdlife (over 500 species), and iconic baobab trees, Tarangire offers some of the most authentic safari experiences in Tanzania.
Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park as you soak in the sights and sounds of the wild. After an afternoon game drive, continue to Karatu where you will check in at your luxury lodge.

Day 3:
Ngorongoro Crater → Arusha
After breakfast, ascend into the highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. From the crater rim, you’ll gaze into what looks like a lost world — a vast volcanic caldera brimming with wildlife.
Descend 600 meters into the crater floor for a full game drive. This natural sanctuary hosts wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, lions, and over 500 species of birds. The crater is also one of the few places where you may spot the rare black rhino.
Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before returning to Arusha. You will be dropped off at your preferred location — Arusha town, Arusha Airport, or Kilimanjaro International Airport.
